Architecture-Sculpture- Painting: (click images for enlarged view) The temple was built by the Cholas. The renovation work was done by Kulotthunga III (1186 AD-1216 AD). The temple is an ancient stone structure. There is a five tier majestic Rajagopura facing East on the main entrance. |
